Something Intangible cracks open a Hollywood legacy of the 1940s, in a story modeled on the genius, and the family tribulations, of brothers Roy and Walt Disney. In Graham’s telling, which received its world premiere at the Arden in 2009, the visionary Tony battles the loyal but business-minded Dale in a quest to make a revolutionary film. Now, the Old Academy Players of northwest Philly mount the show (their sixth Bruce Graham production) in their own historic early 19th-century building, where they’ve been in residence since 1932.

Something Intangible, directed by Nancy Frick, is coming to the Old Academy Players, 3540-44 Indian Queen Lane in East Falls, from January 10-26. For tickets ($15) and more information, call 215-843-1109 or visit www.oldacademyplayers.org.
