Danie “Ocean” Jackson is a musician and singer/songwriter based in Media, PA. She’s a queer, Black, visually disabled, gender nonconforming artist and nonprofit founder who was honored in 2018 by Governor Wolf as one of 40 African American millennials making a difference in Pennsylvania. She has appeared at events and venues including Philly’s World Café Live and The Tin Angel, The Sidewalk Café in New York City, the Montreal Jazz Festival, and many more.
