Winnie the Pooh for soprano, cello, winds, and percussion? Peter Pan for soprano, cello, and piano? Alice in Wonderland and Hans Christian Anderson for solo violin? Astral Artists ventures into the world of children’s fantasy, with songs and instrumental works by Leonard Bernstein, Robert Schumann, and three less-familiar 20th-century composers. Two of the rising young performers selected for the Astral Artists program, soprano Kathryn Guthrie and cellist Christine Lamprea, will share the playground with Astral alumni and guest artists.

Astral in Wonderland at the Trinity Center for Urban Life, S. 22nd and Spruce Street, Philadelphia, is coming up on Sunday, February 9 at 3pm. Tickets are $20; $18 for seniors and $5 for students. For tickets and more information, call 215-735-6999 or visit AstralArtists.org.
