Starting in June 2022, we teamed up with the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance's (GPCA) ReSTART Initiative for a special BSR Podcast series asking leaders of local small and mid-sized arts organizations how they weathered the pandemic so far, what's next, and what they need to keep serving us.
In this wrap-up episode, we sit down with two of the GPCA leaders who powered this initiative: vice president of programming Roberta Johnson and audience services manager Kabria Rogers. They talk about what happens when arts leaders get a chance to engage in a longer-form conversation that isn't about getting the quote, generating sound bites, or promoting a particular event. Plus, Darnelle finally gets his own Mayor Nutter impersonation on the air.
