On Saturday, April 25, actor, author, and singer extraordinaire Mandy Gonzalez will stop at Marian Anderson Hall for Everything I Know, a special concert with the Philly Pops honoring her longtime collaboration with Lin-Manuel Miranda. In advance of her visit to Philly, she joins Radford in the virtual studio to take us behind the scenes of the show.

She'll be singing songs from Miranda hits like In the Heights, Hamilton, and Moana, and sharing personal stories about working with the modern musical theater master, as well as "breaking barriers as a Latina on Broadway" and the continuing power of representation.

She talks with Radford about how the vision for a Pops symphony concert featuring these songs got started, what it's like to perform a show on the Marian Anderson stage, and why she always invites local performers to join her when she's on tour. Get your tickets for Everything I Know, and stream the BSR conversation below on YouTube or listen on Apple Podcasts.
