Seth Reichgott is a Philadelphia-based actor, director, writer, and father of two. He has worked at the Wilma, Arden, Lantern, Interact, Cape May Stage, Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, and many other companies. Seth is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the Dell’Arte School. Seth Reichgott is a Philadelphia-based actor, director, and writer. Acting credits include Wintertime and Rock ‘n’ Roll (Wilma Theater), Richard III (Baltimore Shakespeare Festival), Wittenberg (Rep Stage), A House with No Walls (Interact Theatre), New Jerusalem and The Foocy (Lantern Theatre), Tuesday (Amaryllis Theatre), The Ballad of John Wesley Reed (Theatre Catalyst), The Big Bang and Stones in His Pockets (Cape May Stage), Interview (Belligerent Muse), The Baker’s Wife (Arden Theatre), and Equus (Mum Puppettheatre). He has twice been a co-recipient of the Barrymore Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Play, and was nominated for a 2010 Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Actor for his performance in Wittenberg at Rep Stage. You may also have seen and heard Seth on TV and radio in numerous commercials.
Seth has directed for Interact Theatre, Act II Playhouse, Madhouse Theatre, Cape May Stage, Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, and the National Theatre of the Performing Arts.
Each year Seth tours his solo shows, Chariot of the Sun and The Appalachian Tale, to elementary and middle schools all over Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.
Seth also performs as Slim Bob Slim, a ukulele-playing vaudevillian who plays new arrangements of old favorites, mostly tunes from the 1980s.
Seth is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre. He was a member of the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble from 1992 to 1999, where he continues to work as an actor and director.
