McCaillaigh Rouse is a Philadelphia-based writer who earned her degree in psychology with a minor in journalism from Temple University. During her time at Temple, she served as opinion editor for The Temple News, where she primarily wrote opinion pieces covering arts, culture, and news. Her experience there also nurtured her love for writing personal essays, a form she continues to explore beyond her time at the paper. Deeply passionate about the arts, politics, and her cat, Larry David, McCaillaigh spends much of her free time reading about international news, exploring new films in theaters, and reviewing movies on Letterboxd.
