BSR Contributor Since November 10, 2021

Darcy Grabenstein has had a lifelong love affair with words. Her career began at a major metropolitan daily newspaper, and she still gets an adrenaline rush from deadline pressure. She "defected" from journalism to the world of advertising/marketing/PR. Today, she is a content marketing strategist for a business intelligence company serving the pharmaceutical industry.

She also is a lover of the arts. For over a decade, she ran a weekly folk dance session and volunteer performing troupe in the Orlando area and later was a Zumba instructor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Today, she reviews dance and other creative performances in the Philly area. Darcy also is a screener for the Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival.

In her “spare” time, Darcy is active in local and national social justice organizations. Since the pandemic, she has turned her writing talents toward poetry, and has had two poems published. Her essays have been published in two editions of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series.
