Alicia Link (b. New Jersey) is a visual artist based in Philadelphia. She received her MFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas at Austin and her BFA in Painting from Boston University. Link’s work offers a type of expanded painting that manifests itself across disciplines. Her work features characters and narratives that invite empathy while serving as proxies for anxiety and personal desire. She has exhibited work in Boston, Austin, and Brooklyn. In 2019, Link was awarded a Capacity Building Award from the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division which allowed her to attend a residency at the Vermont Studio Center. www.alicia-link.com
