Jillian Ashley Blair Ivey (she/her pronouns) is a writer, editor, and communications strategist living in Pennsport. Follow her on Twitter: @jillianivey.

Writer, editor, and communications strategist Jillian Ashley Blair Ivey has published in DAME Magazine, The Frisky, Philly Love Notes, Quake (now defunct), Origivation Magazine, Slush, and in the Institute of Contemporary Art-published publication Rodney Graham .She Stood UpFor Herself [sic]. Her piece “Yankee Land,” an essay about coming to terms with leaving her Texas roots behind and becoming an official Philadelphian, appeared in the book Philadelphia Reflections: Stories from the Delaware to the Schuylkill (The History Press 2011).

The former editor of Phillyist, Jillian has an MFA in creative writing from Rutgers University (Camden campus) and a BA in English Literature/Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania.
