Jillian Ashley Blair Ivey

Writer, editor, and communications strategist Jillian Ashley Blair Ivey has published in DAME Magazine, The Frisky, Philly Love Notes, Quake (now defunct), Origivation MagazineSlush, and in the Institute of Contemporary Art-published publication Rodney Graham .She Stood UpFor Herself [sic]. Her piece “Yankee Land,” an essay about coming to terms with leaving her Texas roots behind and becoming an official Philadelphian, appeared in the book Philadelphia Reflections: Stories from the Delaware to the Schuylkill (The History Press 2011).  

The former editor of Phillyist, Jillian has an MFA in creative writing from Rutgers University (Camden campus) and a BA in English Literature/Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania.
