A native of Richmond, Virginia, Erin Bomboy is a New York-based writer. She is a contributor to and editorial assistant for The Dance Enthusiast. Erin holds an MFA in dance from New York University. In her free time, she enjoys bacon, books, cats, and wine. Follow her on Twitter at @erinbomboy.

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Erin Bomboy is a New York City-based writer and teacher. She trained as a classical ballet dancer before spending a decade competing as a professional ballroom dancer. She placed in several United States Open Finals and won many regional titles. She holds an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. After graduation, she was hand-selected by the dance department at New York University to lead small group classes for international MFA candidates on English acquisition and application.
Currently, Erin is a contributor to and editorial assistant for The Dance Enthusiast. She is also a part-time lecturer at Muhlenberg College in the dance department. In her free time, Erin enjoys bacon, books, cats, and wine. Follow her on Twitter at @erinbomboy.
