February is here, opening up a depth of events celebrating Black History Month. This month, I’m contemplating Black Futures and what that means in the midst of a pandemic. How have these last few years impacted the present and future of Black artists and creatives—all Black folk, really. How can I support my own better? How can I support myself better as I also navigate my own path?
A few events coming up this week will prove to be helpful: The Picture Taker is a compelling story worth checking out, and I’m looking forward to Imani Winds’ performances this weekend.
