We certainly are. This week, we're spotlighting some of the last shows to open before we hit the second month (!!!) of 2024, with an exciting slate of reviews coming your way in the first week of February, including world premieres at the Wilma, InterAct, and 1812.
We also have some great music on deck this week: the latest from the Philadelphia Orchestra, and a double review featuring two adventurous new albums from icons of Philly jazz, teaming up to honor the past and invent the future. Kyle's weekend picks will be here tomorrow, and then be sure to keep an eye out on Friday morning for our latest BSR In the Wild mailer, letting you know where our staff is heading in February, plus an invitation to an LGBTQ+ (and allies) Valentine's event from one of our Local Media Champions.
We're going to make it through these winter months together. This week, I saw the very first green daffodil shoots on a neighbor's stoop.
