It’s been strange over the years writing newsletters on days where there are unusual, slightly-dystopian things happening outside your door. Insurrections, demonstrations, quarantines, and now wildfires. Sheesh.
I want to recommend some incredible performances and events this week in the area. I hope things clear up fast. I hope everyone is okay through this. I can’t help but feel a tinge of despair, but despite that and despite the weather, please find safe ways to enjoy yourself this weekend if you’re affected by the wildfires here in the northeast.
