History can tell us a lot about the future. With a wildly wavering, dangerously swaying sociopolitical climate, it's hard to get a grasp of what tomorrow will bring. While 2026 has its own unique problems that may not be so apparently parallel to the past, the connections can be made if you take a look at the nuances—the little details. This week, we've got an opportunity to look at the little details through a variety of compelling events celebrating Women's History Month in our roundup—including the return of An Unfinished Herstory, Her Canvas, Her Voice, and a new take on Romeo & Juliet. We've also got music, dance, and film offerings to keep us on track towards understanding whatever is coming for us in the rest of the year and beyond.
For BSR, the month is off to a strong start—we received ten percent of our fundraising campaign goal in just one day. Thank you to those who were able to contribute, and we encourage those who are able to give consider making a donation to BSR. I'm proud of the work that our writers are doing in a space that has gotten much smaller over the years, and we're happy to support arts and culture in the Philly area in such challenging times.
Thank you all for reading! And thank you for being part of our history, and ultimately, our future.
