Maybe you’ve heard the word out in the streets, but a new era is coming here at Broad Street Review. At the end of this July, I will be leaving my role as associate editor, making way for a new face in this role for the first time in eight years.
It’s been quite a ride here. In nearly a decade of work, I’ve been able to work with some of Philly’s best writers and journalists, covering the city’s arts and culture scene—a scene that has long been important to me as a Philadelphia native. It was a tough decision to move on, and I’m not exactly sure what’s next, but this is certainly more of a see you later than a goodbye.
I’ll miss the team here at BSR. And I’ll miss facilitating and cultivating the arts. Thank you all for reading and supporting BSR over these years. I owe so much of what this has brought me and what all I’ve received to you and yours. Please keep showing up and supporting BSR, one of the last arts and culture outlets in a city rich in cultural history. It’s an integral part of the community here, and I want to see it thrive.
