It's running through Sunday, and tickets are pay-what-you-can! Our latest podcast episode is below, filling you in on this fest and how to find shows and get your seats. And looking ahead to April (yeah, this weekend, who let that happen?), our monthly BSR in the Wild mailer will hit your inbox the day after tomorrow, with tips on where our team is heading next month. We're also looking forward to our meetup tonight, where Friends of BSR can mingle with our staff and writers.
Our stories this week include my review of SIX, which is getting its Philly premiere (running at the Academy of Music through April 9), and a review of a new production of Cabaret at Bristol Riverside Theatre, plus coverage of the latest world premiere from The Crossing, and more.
We know it's been a tough week for many of us in Philly, as we continue to wait for updates about our water. To me, the whole thing contributed to a depressing sense of helplessness which already overwhelms me from many elements of the news, not to mention the ongoing pandemic. On the other hand, I saw many people going out of their way to help keep others informed, and support them. When scary, confusing things happen, we can still turn to our community.
