We’re back at our desks over here at BSR! The Fringe Festival is looming and the summer heat lingering unrelentingly in the air. It’s always nice to get a break from the working flow. Time away is a great chance to integrate all the experiences that we haven’t had a chance to digest, to journal about future visions (and not necessarily just by writing), and give our minds a chance to catch up with where we are physically. I hope you’ve been able to find some time to integrate and rest this summer.
And yet, as vacation comes to a close, summer isn’t quite done yet—especially if you’re like me and consider it summer until the equinox at the end of September. On deck this week, Melissa Strong previews the River Dance Festival, a collection of performers from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. We’ve also got the roundup this week, casting a spotlight on Theatre in the X’s Zooman and the Sign, which opens this weekend.
Take it easy on yourself, y'all!
