BSR has a lot in common with Germantown's G-Town radio, even though we have readers and they have listeners. We're both focused on the Philly community, but often serve fans far beyond the city limits. We both believe that independent, accessible local media is vital, and should reflect the voices of the people tuning in. Last month, we lost G-Town Radio founder Jim Bear, and we hope our readers will enjoy learning about his legacy, and keep supporting media that puts the community first.
