I think everyone can get in on Valentine's Day by showing a little love to the people we care about: friends, family, the good co-workers (like everyone at BSR). Yes, partners are important (for some of us), but so many others make up the vital fabric of our lives. And there are so many good things we can do for ourselves, instead of waiting for someone else to make it special. (Here's a piece I wrote a couple years ago about the joy of traveling solo.) Whether you're enjoying some special attention today, planning it for someone else, or just staying home until all the romance dies down, we hope you enjoy today (we're halfway through February!).
This week, we're reviewing the latest at PTC, Trenton's Passage Theatre, and the Lantern, plus a look at a solo gallery exhibition from an exciting emerging artist who graduated recently from PAFA. What do leaders of this gallery, both PAFA alums, have to say about PAFA's decision to suspend its degree programs?
Tomorrow, we on the editorial team are looking forward to meeting up with some of our writers over coffee in Center City. If you want invites to these conversations throughout the year, become a Friend of BSR! These donors start at just $5/month, and they do so much to support our arts journalism.
