It’s October 3rd.
Yes. It’s Mean Girls Day. But it’s also the first week of October—which means that Fringe has come to a close, the kids (young and old) are all the way back in school, and the 2024-25 season is starting for many in the Greater Philly area. This month’s first edition of the BSR Classical Interludes maps out who’s opening their new season, along with a few other performances on the outskirts of new beginnings. The weekly roundup also sees some openings and autumn-adjacent annual fests.
There’s also plenty of movies on the big screen—including a screening of Rocky Horror with a special guest.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve probably got pumpkin flavored coffee from Trader Joe’s steeping while you read this.
