Some of the shows we're covering this week remind us of diverse worlds within and outside the Philadelphia area, and as we focus on the local arts happenings that make up BSR's coverage, we're keeping aware of important stories and happenings in our community, in our country, and in our world.
Union workers at the Philadelphia Museum of Art are still on strike -- the BSR team is watching and we support the right of local arts workers (and workers everywhere) to a living wage, a safe and stable workplace, and good healthcare. We also urge our community to get ready for Election Day: Tuesday November 8, 2022. Make sure you're registered to vote (the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming election is October 24), make a plan to vote on the day, and support your friends and neighbors in getting to the polls. And we're keeping up with important global events, especially the ones that aren't in the news as much as they should be, like the fierce uprising of the Iranian people against their cruel and murderous government.
Stay informed. Stay engaged. Thanks as always for reading.

Comfort and confrontation
Jillian Ashley Blair Ivey
More a work of theater than a play, Tall Order’s Those with 2 Clocks, now onstage at the Wilma, is funny, provocative, and beautifully designed. Jill Ivey reviews.
