This week marks nearly two decades of the West Chester Film Festival, which saw record number submissions this year coming from all over the world. It’s always nice seeing local filmmakers rubbing elbows with international movie makers—it makes the once-upon-a-film student in me smile.
Outside of that, we celebrated Earth Day this past Tuesday, but celebrating the Earth takes more than a day. This week’s roundup features a handful of events, to go with a new theater performance in Chestnut Hill and a spring jazz series from Painted Bride.
Be good, Philly!
