Broad Street Review is an arts and culture commentary website edited by Dan Rottenberg. It’s a sophisticated Internet forum where interested and knowledgeable people can engage their minds in intelligent discourse about the arts. It functions not to promote a point of view but to promote the exchange of viewpoints. Since its launch in December 2005, Broad Street Review posts fresh commentaries twice weekly by commentators in such fields as theater, classical music, new music, art, dance and opera. Editor Dan Rottenberg also contributes his “Editor’s Notebook” column. Readers’ responses are posted twice a week to provoke a lively ongoing dialogue. Past contributions are stored in the website’s archive, where they remain instantly accessible. Regular and occasional contributors include some of Philadelphia’s leading arts critics, but the site is open to anyone who’s knowledgeable and is burning to say something. For more information about contributing, click here. Ultimately, Broad Street Review will add such fields as architecture, books, movies and design. In its second phase it will possess audio and video capability.
