Nine Parts of Desire

Re Dan Rottenberg’s review of Wilma Theater’s Nine Parts of Desire—
On the button, Dan. I, too, was disturbed by the ranting and by the confusing multi-narratives. The set was well-done, the actress tried her best. She moves well, but can’t change her voice registers enough to distinguish one character from another. I prefer Anne Deveare Smith.
